Atelier
Anghiari is the enchanting medieval village among the Tuscan hills known for the battle that inspired Leonardo Da Vinci's lost masterpiece. Here, in 2008, Antonio Fanelli chose to bring his atelier to life, which today is a destination for collectors, gallery owners, and art enthusiasts.
Located on the ground floor of a historic building, the space welcomes visitors among bare stone walls illuminated by the artist's works, creating a constantly changing landscape.
Among fragments of ancient wood, canvases, brushes and small brushes, tempera, chisels, and pencils, visitors immediately have a very clear sensation of being in a unique place:
the workshop, an extraordinary forge of inventions, is the epicenter of a perpetual creative swarm while, in the exhibition area, the spaces offer a perfect experience of hospitality and enjoyment, very often accompanied by just the right music attuned to the inner tones of those who cross the threshold into an enchanted world.
